A good travel agent is worth their weight in gold. Take advantage of their knowledge and experience. It's free! They are paid by the various hotels, resorts, airlines, etc.; not by you. Many agents will have experienced places where you might like to go. They'll be only to happy to share that knowledge with you. Ask them advice. They can probably give you some sound ideas.
If they seem genuinely concerned and enthused about where you are going and how you are getting there, they probably are. You see, if they send you off on a great honeymoon where you're pampered and catered to, you'll be grateful they knew their business so well and you will call upon them again when you travel in the future.You'll probably also tell your friends what a great time you had. Travel agents love newlyweds and vise-versa. By the way, be sure to let everyone know you're newlyweds. You'll be treated like royalty!
