Rehearsal dinners are traditionally given by the grooms parents. Usually they are informal affairs. They can be either before or after the rehearsal, depending on the convenience to most involved and, of course, on the time of the rehearsal itself. Make sure there is ample room. It might be a good idea to have it in a separate room. If it is going to be after the rehearsal check with the person conducting the rehearsal to see how long it will take. Make your reservation accordingly. Tell them you may be a little late, 'cause you might be.
