Tuxedos
Be
sure to check out the professionals at the end of this summary of
HELPFUL IDEAS. Be sure to order your tuxedos early enough to be able to get what you want. Keep in mind what else is happening on the weekend of your wedding. Are there going to be school proms, Christmas parties, special conventions, academy awards, or any other functions that will use up lots of tuxedos? If there are, then get your reservations in early. If the shop has its own alterations section it could save you big headaches on wedding day if any alterations are necessary. It's best to get all the tuxedos from the same shop to make sure everyone matches. Any men living a distance from the tux shop can get complementary measurements from any tuxedo shop in their area. They can then send you the measurements. Make sure the measurements are done professionally as tux measurements are different than regular measurements. Don't feint when you see your waist measurement listed as 38 when you know it is only 34. Tuxedos are worn higher and always show a larger waist size of from 3 to 5 inches.Very important. Be sue everyone picks up and tries on their tux at lest a couple days before the wedding. If something needs to be altered or changed it's always best to have a day or two to have it made right. If you wait till the last minute you might just be out of luck!
